REGULATION OF SETTLEMENTS MILKA PROTIC AND LEDENA STENA

Street paving, playgrounds for the youngest residents of Palilula new park surfaces, information signals in the squares are just some of the content of these summer months and enrich the quality of life of residents in this Nis`s Municipality. In settlement “Milka Protic”, submitted to the use of playground for children, that the Palilula Municipality equipped with the financial support of Branch of “Erste” Bank in Nis. On this occasion, a settlement visited Milan Djurdjevic, president of the Assembly, Milos Stojkovic and Boban Mikic, members of the Municipal Council, Slavoljub Savic, Head of Municipal Administration Associate of Palilula Municipality and Ms. Ljiljana Ilic, Director of Branches, “Erste” Bank in Nis.

In the meeting with journalists and representatives of the Citizens Council, it was discussed about the implementation of integration with the local community, about this project and other activities in the organization of infrastructure in the settlements. Oliver Paunovic, member of Citizens Council of the local office “Milka Protic”, thanked to the management  of Municipality on the past cooperation and support in the reconstruction of paving-street in this neighborhood. Residents of settlement Aca Kukic, asked the representatives of municipal authorities to assist in solving and other environmental problems such as air pollution caused chimneys motel “Deligrad”, which is located in the center of the settlement. There have been several petitions addressed to the citizens to this institution, but there is no feedback, according to Ace Kukic.

Palilula Municipality in its Strategy of development gives special priority to activities for improvement  of the quality of life of residents in the settlements, both in town and the village-recalled Milan Djurdjevic, president of the Municipal Assembly. Consideration of the situation on the ground, solving problems and meeting with citizens has become good practice in the work of the leadership of the organization of local self-government of the City of Nis. In the Program of Planning of inter - block space and roads in settlements of Palilula Municipality, at the end of this week is set and playground in the street “Bubanjski heroji” of the numbers 2-4 as well as construction works began on the paving “Ćurlinska Street”, one of five streets which is this year city investment program in the MIN`s settlement on the Ledena Stena.

By the end of the press conference, the media has promoted and transportation systems - information LED display, set to the roundabout in the settlement Ledena Stena (in both directions) that informs citizens-travelers on the current temperature, date, time, work of center “INFO 48” of the Palilula Municipality.
